Hi folks! Here is a bit about me and my run coaching services:
I ran varsity track and cross country for Niskayuna High School, The University at Albany and the College of Saint Rose. In the past I have coached cross country at Bishop Maginn High School and The College of Saint Rose. As a member of the Albany Running Exchange Racing Team and then the Tracksmith Boston Hares I experienced renewed success as a masters runner (40+). I decided I would re enter the coaching world and give back to the community by mentoring others. I ended up having achilles/haglunds surgery on my right foot in 2023 and then qualified for the Boston Marathon twice after (see podcast). Therefore I have some experience with injuries that I am willing to share and how that mixes in with the larger training picture for an athlete.
Here are some of my masters PRs:
5K: 17:17
10K: 36:11
15K: 54:46
Half Marathon: 1:19:33
Full Marathon: 3:03:13 (BQ)
