I started training with Coach Mike 2 years ago..we left New York state and he has kept me on board coaching me virtually. Coach has helped me improve my running culminating in a PR last weekend at my 5k race! He has helped me train for 5k, 10k and half marathons. His training plans are very thorough, he is detailed, supportive, enthusiastic, goal oriented and very responsive. I can’t say enough great things about Coach Dino! I have known him in the running community for years & he’s always been a great person & knowledgeable runner. I never ran in middle/high school or college, so I’m not well versed in real workouts. I decided to take my running to the next level by reaching out to Dino for coaching. Several of my friends recommended him after seeing their times improving. I’ve been working with Dino for several months and had my first 5k PB in 7 years! (21:10). I love the workouts and find they are tailored to my ability level.
I’m a single mom to 4 kids & Coach Dino has always been understanding & flexible when things in life come up. He modifies my workouts when needed to stay on track & offers encouragement. I've ran 8 marathons, including Boston, but my training felt flat until switching to his plans. His race day tips have helped me PR, & the season is just beginning. I’m hoping to beat my 3:29:25 marathon time this fall & know that if I follow the plans prescribed by Coach Dino, that can happen. A year ago I committed to having a run coach to support my own training while I work to mentor other runners. Going with Coach Dino has been one of the best decisions I've made! Working with Mike over the past year and a half has been great! He really takes time to listen to you as a runner and develops a tailored plan to help you achieve your goals. The plans are timely and easy to follow with specific distances and paces for both easy and hard efforts. He understands that sometimes life happens and will make adjustments to accommodate your needs. Mike gives constructive feedback on both workouts and races, and will answer all of your questions! While working with Mike, I have been able to achieve my life long goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon (and also Chicago) and doing so with a 15 minute PR! I have also had Masters PRs in the 5K, 15K, and Half Marathon distances. Mike is an all around awesome coach that truly enjoys and understands the sport.
